North Central College Campus Visit Day

Discover your future at North Central College during our signature Campus Visit Day on Friday, February 27, 2026. Choosing a college is one of the most significant decisions a student will ever make, and there is no better way to determine if a school is the right ‘fit’ than by stepping onto campus, meeting the community, and experiencing the environment firsthand. This comprehensive open house event, specifically titled ‘Winter II,’ is designed to provide prospective students and their families with an in-depth look at everything North Central College has to offer.

Located in the heart of beautiful downtown Naperville, Illinois, North Central College has been a cornerstone of academic excellence since 1861. Our Campus Visit Days are crafted to be more than just a tour; they are an immersive experience where you can envision yourself as a member of the Cardinal family. The day begins at 10:00 a.m. with check-in at the stunning Wentz Concert Hall and Fine Arts Center, a world-class facility that serves as the gateway to our campus. For those arriving early, an optional ‘Beyond the Classroom’ presentation offers a deep dive into the unique opportunities available to North Central students outside of traditional lectures, including internships, study abroad, and leadership programs.

The official program kicks off at 10:30 a.m. with a Welcome Presentation that introduces our mission, values, and the ‘Cardinal Pledge.’ This pledge is our commitment to making a world-class education accessible and affordable for all students. Following the welcome, at 11:00 a.m., families will transition to academic sessions led by our distinguished faculty. Whether your interests lie in STEM, Health Sciences, the Humanities, Business, or Education, you will have the chance to engage directly with professors who are leaders in their fields. These sessions provide a window into our small class sizes and the personalized mentorship that defines the North Central academic experience.

At 11:35 a.m., the experience continues with a 60-70 minute walking campus tour. Led by current student ambassadors, these tours go beyond the architecture to share the ‘real’ stories of life at NCC. You’ll see our state-of-the-art labs, modern residence halls, and the historic Old Main building. Most importantly, you’ll feel the energy of a campus that is just steps away from the shops, restaurants, and Metra station of downtown Naperville.

The final portion of the day, beginning at 12:35 p.m., is titled ‘You Pick!’ This flexibility allows you to customize the end of your visit. You can enjoy a complimentary lunch in our dining hall to sample the campus cuisine, take a charming trolley tour of the Naperville area, explore the Student Life Fair to learn about our 75+ student organizations, or browse the latest gear at the Campus Store. The event concludes at 1:30 p.m., leaving you with a clear picture of how North Central College can help you exceed your personal best.
